Brno - Compact City among the old and the new railway stations

Urban-architectural study of a new part of town between the existing and future main train station in Brno. The study is a new concept of space as a potential alternative to the approved land-use plan. The main feature of the solution is to transfer the planned route of the proposed urban boulevard roller coaster in urbanized areas have street griddle. This solution is particularly beneficial in this respect that the body does not make the roller coaster of the area urban barrier. Emphasis is placed on the proposal to create exciting new urban spaces and their interconnectedness. The idea is to create a new pedestrian route as the natural link between the new railway station and historical center of Brno. The proposal addressed two sites. It is the creation of a new residential area on the waterfront Svratky and also address the reconstruction of railway station area. The proposal envisages the territory of the city with the addition of new functions such as library, conference center and also a new church.

Tato práce, která byla psána na Strojní fakultě Vysokého učení technického v Brně, Ústav automatizace a informatiky, se zabývá problémem komunikace mezi lidmi a roboty z netradičního hlediska. Snahou bylo vyhodnotit a rozdělila způsoby této komunikace, najít problémy, které se této oblasti týkají a na jejich základě analyzovat jejich možná řešení. Cílem bylo poukázat na některá reálná řešení zmíněných problémů.

New trends in data network design

are used. In the theoretical part I analyse some basic network protocols and their gradual development, VLANs and Spanning Tree Protocol, MPLS protocol and other. There are described parameters for the design of new networks and the models networks and their various are used, the network with a new architecture and a software-defined network (SDN),too. The practical part deals with designed laboratory exercises for teaching students. The laboratory experiments are always divided into several tasks. They are formed even students ignorant or less familiar with the issue could configure and test it.

Design of MAN security

The object of this thesis is to solve a problem with MAN net malfunction. MAN net worked without bigger problems. At certain moment it lost the ability to ensure data transmission. The thesis deals with the transmission technology analysis, it´s security and analysis of possible causes of MAN net malfunction. The result is a proposal of arrangements leading towards removal of the malfunction.

Architecture of home

The thesis is based on monitoring how one represents, creating an environment, how one completes it, or how the human environment is created. When we ask ourselves what our home means for us, we knew we could give it the shape of space. We could describe it as a place where we like to be. Some questions arise. If there is any idea of living at home, if it is as personal, how does each of us perceive home in his intimacy as well? How did it become the architecture itself? The goal of the work is to translate the understanding of the home through a specific situation. I choose a village in Slovakia, Čechynce, which has more than 1000 inhabitants. The architectural design itself does not adapt to the creation of a home as a house. He wants to point out that the home is not in an isolated system of walls, but in an ability of distence and in a chance to return again.

Anthropometric research of the adult population and its applications in interiors and architecture

This thesis focuses on research in the field of anthropometric measurements of the adult population, its history, basic concepts and research itself, conducted under the author’s leadership of the NIS project at the Mendel University in Brno. The research results and its application in the field of interiors and furniture should be used to revise the architectural patterns and standards dealing with the relations on the axis between man – interior – furniture. It describes the relations of individual parameters, a person's height and weight, their development depending on age and sex, compares the height curve growth in Czech population and in Europe. The results of the work should serve as a basis for revising the existing typological principles and standards with regard to new results; in conclusion the author proposes conceptual changes of the fixed schemes in relations of man and interior.

Bachelor's thesis focuses on the reflection of the current romanticization of nature and rural life, reflected in the internetcore subculture cottagecore, which it examines more thoroughly. It works with the escapism contained in it, the tendency towards idyll and the creation of an artificial safe-space, while it transfers these factors into a medium on the border of textile, painting and object. It tries to evoke a certain self-reflection in the viewer and to show him a different view of the issues related to the mentioned topics.
